My Maiden Blog Post!

So this is day one, post one of the "soon to be popular" Green Acres blog!  Considering that it is now 1a.m., this first post is going to be short and simple.  I guess I could begin by explaining my blog photo.  On my niece Morgan's very first visit to the wonderful state of Missouri, she met her 9, yes 9 doting cousins!  We gathered at the local park to have an amateur photo shoot of all 10 cousins together.  This is one of those wonderful "after" photos!  Ironically, Morgan isn't even in this picture. LOL  The always fun Uncle Jesse (and Uncle Philip) loaded all of the kids up on the see-saw and I couldn't pass up the opportunity for a photo.  Katelyn's ( far left) face is absolutely priceless! <3  One thing is for sure, we DO know how to have a good time!

Just so ya know- First, I hope for this blog to be a place where family (especially those out-of-towners) can stay caught up a bit more in detail than through Facebook.  But, my second hope is that I can share some of my crafts and projects.  Be it with the "world" or just with the few friends who will hopefully check up on me, I'm looking at it as a type of accountability guarantee.  If I know someone is expecting a post, I'm much more likely to produce something to post about!
